Interior spaces

I'd really love to start decorating. But since Aaron and I plan on moving closer to downtown next year, I've decided not to. So for now, Im just going to collect images and dream of being creative..

Been watching a lot of old films lately. I don't have cable, so I Hulu helps me out.

The weather in Austin has been amazing and has really been having a positive effect on me. I've also been cleaning up my diet and working out more. I can't afford to get sick again like I was last month, so I needed to change.

Okay, so here's what's to come.

 -I'll be posting a few before and after pictures of the custom motorcycle seat that I did for Aaron, maybe tonight.. maybe tomorrow. 

-Aaron and I have a few projects that we're working on together. A classic phonograph and a vintage dining room table. As soon as those are done, they will be posted as well. It's been a slow start getting into this re-vamping deal, mostly because of his full time schedule and my procrastination (I know, I need to stop that. and i will, but my life and mind are all over the place at the moment).

-I'm working as much as possible over the next 2-3 months so I can finally start saving for my trip back to Chicago (and my new sleeve). 

-I'm also trying to get back into retail, in a full-time position, with benefits and a salary. To be completely honest, i'm tired of gambling on my income and i'd really like to get into a position that I can grow in and learn from.

So that's that. I'll be back on here soon.

Moto Monday

This past weekend was full of festivals. There was the Arts Festival, the Food and Wine Festival, and the 10th Annual Lonestar Rod and Custom Roundup. Aaron and I hit up SoCo on Saturday for the LRCR and it was amazing. Weather was hot, cars were looking great, and I got my weekly dose of Homeslice.

I didnt get to take to many pictures. There were a lot of people on the street and I only got to stay for 2 hours before I had to go into work. We plan on going back next year, and ill take off the whole day so we can see everything and go to the after parties.
