Vintage Wednesday
I've really been slacking on this blog and it's been bumming me out. So, I stayed up late last night and put together a little schedule that I'm going to follow for this blog. As the week goes on, I'm sure that you'll see where this is going. Every day will have a specific theme (I guess you can call it that). I'll throw things in there to mix it up, but I figure that if I have a set schedule for the week, I'll be able to keep up with this a lot easier and it'll make it more interesting for the readers that I have already, and for those who stumble upon it. And if you do read my blog, I encourage you to add me, via blogger or bloglovin.com. I also want to say thanks for visiting and being somewhat interested in what I have to say or post.
Now to todays post. Along with staying up late last night with figuring out a schedule (and having a never ending cough/cold. Gross!) I stumbled upon a website for this amazing burlesque dancer named Coco Lectra, who teaches a class right here in Austin. Here's one of her performances:
I've always been really fascinated by burlesque dancing. The women are always so beautiful, confident, and classy. They always look like they're having so much fun with their sexuality! So after looking over her entire website, I decided to put my Wednesday night off to good use and I will be at her class tonight. This should be interesting because as most people know, I really cant dance.

octo decor
I have a small obsession with octopi. I'd really like to have all of these things one day. Maybe if I ever get a call back from Anthro about the Assistant Receiving Manager position that I interviewed for. *sigh*

sewing room
So, it's been almost 2 weeks since I last posted. SXSW madness is finally over and I feel like everything is getting back to normal. I've been thinking about how I was to set up my sewing room since I moved in to my new place (back in Dec) and I finally have the money to put into it. Here are little pieces of inspiration for the space.
I def. want it to be colorful, with lots of storage and organization. It's a small space, but it's going to be nice to have my own place to work and get things done. I NEED to have this space ready a.s.a.p. because I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head for things I'd like to make for myself and if I don't make something soon, I just might go crazy!
Cheers to a creative week!
